Notice of Public Hearings
Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Mackenzie County will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of the following proposed Bylaw.
Proposed Bylaw 1128-18
That the Mackenzie County Land Use Bylaw (1066-17) be amended as follows:
To change the setbacks for signs along 100 Street in the Hamlet of La Crete from a minimum of 5 feet to a minimum of 23 feet to a maximum of 33 feet from the curb or sidewalk due to the proximity of 100A Street.
All new signs along 100 Street starting from 9205-100 Street (Mackenzie County Office) North to the intersection of the Secondary Road 697 (La Crete Access) must be placed behind 100A Street, which is a service road as shown below.
The Public Hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the Mackenzie County Council Chambers in Fort Vermilion (4511-46 Avenue). Click here for a copy of the proposed bylaw.
