Mackenzie County has established a Shelterbelt Tree Program to promote soil and water conservation, as well as Rural and Urban beautification.
Those who wish to purchase shelterbelt tree seedlings can download a copy of the order form here. Order forms can also be obtained from any County office. Payment for shelterbelt trees must be made at the time of order form submission.
Available species include White Spruce, Lodgepole Pine, Blue Spruce, Lilac, Siberian Larch, and Green Ash.
