Statement from Mackenzie County Reeve, Josh Knelsen
Mackenzie County apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the recent change in venue for the petition signing.
Elections Alberta has confirmed that the County did not breach the Citizen Initiative Act and made no prohibited contribution. That review is now closed.
Alberta sovereignty Canvassers are welcome to use county facilities. We remain committed to fair and open access to the democratic process.
