Purpose of RFP
Mackenzie County is currently accepting proposals for a Caretaker for the Fort Vermilion Waste Transfer Station.
Scope of Work
The Waste Transfer Station Caretaker will be responsible for the organization, operation, and cleanliness of the Transfer Station. They will also work with the public and be responsible for maintaining and submitting records and reports.
The Fort Vermilion Waste Transfer station will be open:
Tuesdays 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Submission, Inquiries and Closing Date
Proposal packages can be picked up at the Fort Vermilion, High Level, and La Crete County offices.
Sealed proposals should be received at the Fort Vermilion county office by the closing date in an envelope marked “Fort Vermilion Waste Transfer Station Caretaker” on or before the closing date of 4:30 p.m. MST, Monday, November 17, 2025.
Due to our northern location, we recommend hand delivering submissions or using a couriered service that provides in person delivery to our office location:
