Proposed Bylaw – 1407-26
Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Mackenzie County will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of Bylaw No. 1407-26.
The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use zoning of the following property described as Part of Plan 072 1050, Block 12, Lot 01 within the Hamlet of Fort Vermilion.
The property is currently zoned Hamlet Residential 1 (H-R1) and is proposed to be zoned as Hamlet Highway Commercial (H-HC) in order to accommodate current and future business operations.

The Public Hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 in the Mackenzie County Council Chambers in Fort Vermilion (4511-46 Avenue).
The proposed bylaw may be viewed at any Mackenzie County office during regular office hours.
