Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Mackenzie County will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of Bylaw No. 1383-25 & Bylaw No. 1387-25 and prior to the first reading of Bylaw No. 1389-25.

The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use zoning of the following property described as Plan 162 0091, Block 10, Lot 01 (10305 Prairie Park Way). The property is currently zoned Hamlet Residential 1A “H-R1A”and is proposed to be zoned as Hamlet Residential 2 “H-R2”in order to accommodate the development of a Dwelling – Row (fourplex).

The proposed bylaw is to amend the land use zoning of the following property described as Part of SE-8-106-15-W5M . The property is currently zoned Institutional “I” and is proposed to be zoned as Hamlet Residential 1B “H-R1B” in order to to revert this zoned property back.
The property is currently zoned Hamlet Residential 1B “H-R1B”and is proposed to be zoned as Urban Fringe “UF” in order to accommodate the development of a residential yard site.

The proposed bylaw is for the partial road closure and sale of 0.118 ha (0.29 ac) of road allowance affecting Part of SW-36-104-14-W5M. The purpose of the proposed bylaw is the closure and consolidation of road allowance into the adjacent property.
The Public Hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in the Mackenzie County Council Chambers in Fort Vermilion (4511-46 Avenue). The proposed bylaw may be viewed at any Mackenzie County office during regular office hours.
